It is a truly unique home party, where you and your friends get together to have professional portraits taken in a relaxed environment and in an affordable way. The event takes place at your home or other location chosen by you, the host/hostess. It is a way to enjoy a complimentary portrait session, and an opportunity to earn portrait rewards. The host/hostess invites between 5 and 15 friends/families to the party for their own 20 minute mini portrait session. There is no fee to host your party and no pressure for your guests to purchase anything.

For all Guests at the Portrait Party:

Session fee of only $40* per person/family includes:

1) Sitting time of up to 20 minutes

2) Time and Talent of the photographer

3) Editing and Web Posting of images

4) A non-watermarked high res AND a watermarked high res digital version of their favorite image!

5) An 8 x 10 OR 8 x 12 print of their favorite image!

There can be up to four people per family. More than four people per family will need to schedule a private sitting. Proofs will be available online for purchase. Each person/family can also purchase a DVD of all edited photos from their session for only $55.

For the host/hostess:

As host/hostess, you’ll receive:

1) A Complementary 30-minute sitting prior to your friends’ sittings

2) A FREE DVD of the edited images from your photo session

3) 2 8 x 10 or 8 x 12 prints of your favorite image!

4) A percentage of your guests’ order total in print credits!

Totals up to $400 – 5%

Totals $401-$600 – 10%

Totals $601 and up – 15%

5) And if you get one of your friends to host a party, you will receive a FREE 12 x 18 print mounted on matboard!

If you decide to host the party outdoors, please select a location that is suitable for creating professional photographs (for example, a park, garden, etc).

You will be required to invite a minimum of 5 guests to participate in the event.  It is recommended (but not absolutely necessary) that the host/hostess provide soft drinks and snacks for the guests.  The host/hostess should schedule the photography sessions about 20 minutes apart, trying to ensure that there are no gaps in the schedule. Your guests are not required to stay for the duration of the party.   I will arrive about 30 minutes prior to the host/hostess portrait session to get everything set up.
